| Contents | Biotransformation of the active ingredients in the complementary medicines and their possible toxic effects. Occurrence of residues and contaminants in medicinal herbs: source, class of contaminants (heavy metals, pesticides, mycotoxins..) and regulatory limits. Adverse effects of these xenobiotic for the human health. |
