Learning verification modality | The exam of Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapy II includes a single oral exam consisting of a discussion lasting about 20 minutes that aims at ascertaining the level of knowledge and understanding achieved by the students on the theoretical and methodological implications listed in the program. The oral test will also verify the acquisition by the student of an appropriate language and communication skills and the self-organization of the exposure to the topics. |

Gastrointestinal and anti-emetic drugs. Peptic ulcer therapy. General information on the Autonomic Nervous System. Cholinergic agonists and antagonists; adrenergic agonists and antagonists. Pharmacology of the cardiovascular system. Treatment of congestive heart failure and angina pectoris. Anti-hypertensive drugs. Diuretics. Anticoagulants and antiplatelet drugs. Drugs for hyperlipidemia. Pain pharmacology and main classes of analgesic drugs. General information on the neurotransmission of the central nervous system.
