| Contents | Theoretical Content: - Principles of operation of rotating electric machines in steady-state conditions. - Fundamentals of power electronics. - Fundamentals of automatic control systems. - Numerical simulation of electronic circuits. - Basis of the Finite Element Method (FEM) applied to electromagnetism. - Operation and control of brushless motors. - Operation and control of stepper motors. Practical Exercises: - Implementation of drives for different types of electric motors. - Simulation and implementation of DC-DC converters. - Embedded programming of controllers using Simulink. |

| Learning verification modality | The exam consists of a written test and an oral/practical test. To be eligible for the written test, it is necessary to have successfully completed the Onramp Simulink, Power Electronics, and Automatic Control tutorials. To be eligible for the oral test, it is necessary to have passed the written test. Attendance at practical laboratory exercises is mandatory. |
