Educational objectives Students are supposed to gain a detailed knowledge of themes and styles of the authors in the syllabus. The cultural context of 19th century philosophy and literature in the USA should be studied in depth.
Prerequisites Skills in reading and speaking in English, at least from level B2
Teaching methods Traditional classes will be taught, and directions will be given for hours of self study that students can manage according to their schedules.
