| Contents | Introduction Protocols Data transmission Data transmission networks ISO-OSI second layer protocols ISO-OSI third layer protocols Introduction to network management; TCP/IP configuration; Routing configuration; Network services (DNS, NIS, NFS, sendmail); Control and diagnostic tools; Security: TCP wrappers, firewalls and DMZs; Monitoring tools and IDS. Examples and exercises on all topics covered, including with virtual machines and dockers. GNS3 network simulator. |
