Contents The course introduces the concepts related to the Internet in relation to communication and information.
In the first part, the post-pandemic scenarios in the world of the network are presented, focusing on digital content (texts, videos, audio and images); in the second part, digital communication strategies are studied, especially analyzing the processes related to the world of social media; in the third part, the course focuses on the future of the network, both on its opportunities (especially in terms of the job market) and on potential threats; finally, the course also includes a practical part (for attending students) in which students are put to the test with the design of an integrated communication plan (both off-line and on-line).

Educational objectives At the end of the course, the student will have acquired the ability to create multimedia content (text, audio, video, photos); he will be able to place them within the "right" social network depending on the chosen online communication strategy. Furthermore, he will be able to manage communication campaigns for clients and for himself.

Teaching methods The course includes - for those who attend - some intermediate tests, the methods of which will be communicated by the teacher in class. However, a final interview is planned on a topic, agreed with the teacher, which will be presented in a multimedia essay.

For those who do not attend, a written test is planned (with open questions) on the three texts indicated and on the handout prepared by the teacher and an oral interview on the same texts and on the handout. It is recommended to contact the teacher by e-mail at least two months before the session in which you want to take the exam.
