SEDE DI PERUGIA
- From the railway station:
Although the Department is not very far from the railway station (located in Piazza Vittorio Veneto), it is advisable to use public transport.
Take the Minimetro to the ‘Cupa’ station (then take the escalators to the Pellini car park and from there to the Department as indicated below), or take city bus line ‘B’ to Porta Conca, or line “C” to ‘Piazza dell'Università’.
- From the historic centre
The distance between the historic city centre and the building that houses the Department is not great, so it is possible (and pleasant) to walk to the building by going down Via dei Priori, then crossing Piazza San Francesco, and finally going down the steps on the left immediately after the square.
- By car
The university area is well signposted, but parking is still very difficult. We recommend parking your car in the secure car park in Viale Pellini (at the exit of the Kennedy tunnel). For information on opening hours and rates, click here. Once you have parked your car, simply take the escalator in the car park to reach Via dei Priori, then turn left towards S.Francesco. Once you have passed this, there are some steps on the left that lead down to the department building. Walking time: 10 minutes.
Alternatively, you can park your car at the “Porta Nuova” car park located at the Pian di Massiano terminus of the Minimetro, then get off at the “Cupa” station as described above.

SEDE DI ASSISI
The Assisi campus is located in Palazzo Bernabei, at Via San Francesco 19, in the historic centre of Assisi, a short walk from the Basilica of St. Francis, a prestigious 16th-century building made available by the Municipality of Assisi for the needs of the University of Perugia.
If you are coming by car, the nearest parking areas are the Saba Giovanni Paolo II car park and the San Giacomo car park. Students can use the San Giacomo car park at an annual cost of €40. The annual pass can be purchased at the municipal police office in Piazza del Comune, Assisi.
If travelling by train, get off at the “Assisi” station.
It is also possible to reach the campus by plane, landing at the Umbria - Perugia “San Francesco d'Assisi” International Airport.
