Please note that it is illegal to reuse the contact details and email addresses of public administration personnel for marketing or electoral propaganda purposes. Such further processing is considered incompatible with the original transparency purposes for which the data is made publicly available. The purpose of the provisions requiring the publication of staff data is to help members identify whom to contact to submit requests or obtain information relating to procedures falling within the competence of public administrations (e.g. Article 35 of Legislative Decree No. 33/2013), although this is not expressly stated. Consequently, taking into account the context in which the data has been collected, the personnel concerned could not reasonably expect it to be used for purposes unrelated to their work activities (see Article 29 Working Party, Opinion No. 6/2013, paragraph 7.6).
